This link provides a tremendous amount of information about the water cycle created by NOAA. It provides pictures and diagrams illustrating the water cycle and along with the diagram has the step-by-step process of what is happening in each stage and what happens when changing from one stage to another. This link also contains lessons, activities, and real world data to further analyze the water cycle and obtain real world information and statistics about precipitation.
